保密管理系創建于2016年，擁有保密管理碩士專業。現有教授3人，副教授2人；博士生導師3人，碩士生導師5人。其中，武漢大學人文社會科學優秀青年學者1人，珞珈青年學者3人。該系開展本科和研究生層次的保密專業學歷教育，培養兼懂技術、法律和管理的復合型保密專門人才，同時開展保密崗位培訓、在職教育和保密科研工作。該系以保密管理學科建設為龍頭，重點在保密制度與法規、大數據安全、保密理論與技術等領域展開研究。通過承擔一批國家及省部級科研項目，該系加快推進保密學科建設，并進一步實現學科間的融合，力爭做到技術領軍、科研領先。
Founded in 2016, the department of secrecy management has 3 full professors, 2 associate professors. Among them, 3 are doctoral supervisors and 5 are master supervisors. There are 3 Luojia Young Scholars. The department carries out professional education in secrecy at both undergraduate and graduate levels and offers personnel training for students to become secrecy experts who understand technology, law and management. The department carries out job training in secrecy field, on-the-job education, but also provides services in secrecy field. Based on the development of secrecy management disciplines, the department focuses its research on secrecy system, cyberspace security, big data security, secrecy technology, and secrecy regulations. By undertaking a number of national, provincial, and ministerial level scientific research projects, the department contributes to the development of secrecy disciplines, and integration between different disciplines while striving to achieve leadership with regard to both secrecy technology and scientific research.
